Dr. Paul Althaus began teaching at York College 38 years ago and was a highly respected Business and Accounting Professor. He is remembered by his colleagues across the disciplines as "a professor’s professor."
The Dennis Moorman Scholarship provides talented and deserving students to pursue a music education with the emphasis in Jazz.
Dr. Frank Pomilla, Emeritus Professor of Physics, was a founding member of York College. He was the first chair of the original Department of National Sciences. Professor Pomilla retired from York in 1992.

The Kenneth G. Adams Scholarship provides talented and deserving students the opportunity to pursue a music education with emphasis in music performance and music education.
We are celebrating the successful first phase of fundraising for the Leslie A. Lewis-Jack Schlein Professorship in Natural Sciences at York College. Drs. Schlein and Lewis have been colleagues at York College since 1973.
Professor Amrhein was a distinguished faculty member who oversaw numerous theater productions. He began his service in the Fall 2000 term and repeatedly served as department chair 2012-2016.
